Hike at Umstead

Lace up your sneakers and join NCPCA members at Umstead State Park at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 21. This easy saunter follows a portion of the Sycamore Trail, then turns onto the multi-use Graylyn Trail to make a loop. 

Enter the park from the Glenwood Road/Rte 70 entrance. Just past the visitor center, turn left onto Maintenance Rd. Take your next right and then bear left at the fork. Follow the road to the parking lot and restrooms at the end. Good directions can also be found on AllTrails; search for the Sycamore and Graylyn Loop (not just Sycamore, as that is a different trailhead).
